Guided Tours Individual Tours
During the tour your experienced guide will explain about the history of English Wine, the methods we use in the vineyards and the reasons for the grapes we choose to grow. The tour continues in the Winery where you will learn about the processes behind the production of our still and sparkling wines. To complete the experience all Guided Tours include a tasting of a selection of our award winning-wines. (Apple Juice is offered to children under 18 and drivers). Although visitors are invited to wander around our vineyards, grounds and herb garden unaccompanied, access to the Chapel Down Winery is by Guided Tour ONLY.
Group Tours We welcome group tours all year round at the Chapel Down Winery (min 10 people) BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT and are able to organise joint itineraries with other local attractions including Smallhythe Place (NT) and The Kent and East Sussex Railway. The itinerary will be the same as for the individual tours described above. If you would also like refreshments to be provided you can discuss this at time of booking.
